S.C. Under 17 Girls
NorthStar 92 is a Traverse
City based team - with
players from all around
Northern Michigan, USA.
The team plays in the
Michigan State Premier
League and typically
is used to travelling
not only for League games,
which can be almost 5
hours each time but,
also successfully participated
in USA Cup in Minnesota
at Under 15. NorthStar
92 is part of the NorthStar
Soccer club which provides
soccer to players from
Under 10 up to Under
21.
Toronto Cup wishes the
team safe travels and
continued success.
HBC
Titans
The
Under 11 Boys, HBC
Titans of Huntington,
N.Y., USA, compete in
the Long Island Junior
Soccer League and Mid-Atlantic
Premier Soccer. The team
was undefeated
during the Fall 2007
season and was recognized with
LIJSL's Bronze Chevron
Sportsmanship Award.
The Titans play year
round in the New York
metropolitan
area and were crowned
Champions in the Blau-Weiss
Gottschee Annual Indoor
Tournament as well as
were undefeated
in the Howell United
Holiday Cup in Howell,
N.J. The Titans are looking
forward to their travel
and participation in
Toronto Cup 2008.

Tynecatle
F.C. from Scotland
has confirmed their
participation in
Toronto Cup 2008
The Under 14 Boys
team is coached
by Gary Mackay,
an ex Heart of
Midlothian F. C.
and Scotland National
team player and,
is a tremendous
Ambassador for
the Club. Gary,
now retired from
playing, holds
the Club record
at Hearts for the
most appearances,
650, a record which
will never be surpassed
in today’s
modern game of
soccer. Gary also
holds the distinction
of being awarded
the Freedom of
the City of Dublin
after his winning
goal for Scotland
against Bulgaria
allowed Eire to
progress to the
World Cup Finals.
Gary is well known
to Mo Johnston,
coach of Toronto
F. C. as both were
members of the
same Hearts team.
