Lakehead
Express Under
18 boys of Thunder
Bay
are
one of the top
competitive teams
in Northwestern
Ontario. They
most recently
won the Senior
Men’s
Division 1 Indoor Playoffs
for 2008. The team has
also been competing for
a number of years in
the final round of the
Indoor and Outdoor Ontario
Cup Tournaments. The
team has traveled to
Schwan’s
USA Cup and reached
the
semi-finals
of their age
group. In 2004
the team
played in the
Minnesota League
and won their
division.
A number of the
players have
been scouted
by US college
coaches in
the past two
years. Lakehead
Express
is
looking forward
to their first
Toronto Cup Tournament.

17 Girls
The Pincourt
/ Ile Perrot Sonix Under
17 Girls compete in the
Montreal, Quebec, Lac
St. Louis Soccer Association,
one of the largest and
most competitive soccer
regions in Canada (27,000
players). The team has
a long history of success
as year after year league
and playoff championships
as well as numerous gold
and silver placing in
provincial tournaments
in Quebec and Ontario
have been gained.
In 2006 The Pincourt
/ Ile Perrot Sonix competed
in the Largest International
Youth Soccer Tournament
in the World (Dana Cup,
Denmark) and won Bronze
in the ‘A Division’.
